Currently we have an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician. Scheduled shift is 8am – 6pm. Scheduled days will vary based on business needs and will include weekends. Pay is based on experience. Minimum of one-year maintenance experience is required preferably in a hotel, apartment or senior living environment.

Responsibilities and Job Duties:
Daily responsibilities for this position will include-guest room preventive maintenance, common area maintenance, hotel equipment preventive maintenance, pool maintenance (CPO preferred), power-washing, grounds, parking lot clean-up, sweeping, trash removal, etc.
Ideal candidate will have general maintenance knowledge. Primary job responsibilities include: painting, caulking, carpet cleaning, tile & grout cleaning, basic plumbing, basic electrical, basic HVAC and overall general maintenance. Other duties and special projects will be assigned as needed. Candidate must have high standards of quality work; guest service skills; positively interact and coordinate with colleagues; and able to respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
*Solid basic maintenance skills *Excellent guest service skills *Excellent communication skills, both oral and written *Must be able to stand for an eight-hour shift *Minimum lifting, pushing and pulling of 50 pounds *Pushing, bending, stooping, walking, upward reaching, manual dexterity, seeing, hearing, writing and typing *Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors *Ability to accurately report information. *Ability to follow all brand and hotel policies & procedures. *Conducts oneself professionally at all times. *Must have knowledge of applicable Federal, state, and local health, safety, & legal regulations. *At least one year of relevant experience required.
